In today’s article, we are going to be looking at everything you should know about the Pipedrive affiliate program — from how much you can expect to be paid to the cookie duration and much more.
Pipedrive Affiliate Program Review
What is Pipedrive?
Before we move on and give you all the details about affiliate marketing for Pipedrive, we should at least describe what this company is all about and how its products and services can assist prospective users.
You should also take the time to do a bit of research on Pipedrive yourself so that you know that whatever they do aligns with your audience’s needs.
To keep things short, Pipedrive is a CRM that can help business owners and managers get their tasks done as swiftly as possible and also schedule out their work, assign tasks to employees, and much more.
What services can you recommend to your audience?
First of all, there’s a free trial that you can suggest your readers to get and it lasts for two whole weeks. That means that a part of your audience will be easier to convert into Pipedrive users just because they have the freedom to first test out the features.
From what we gathered, there are four main plans that individuals can opt for. The first one is the cheapest and is billed at 14.90 euro per month. It comes with a limited number of features, such as the ability to import data and organize it, and of course the calendar and pipeline management feature that everyone expects from the service.
The next available plan is called Advanced and is billed at 24.90 euro per month. It comes with the already mentioned features, but added to that there’s a full email sync with scheduling and templates, a workflow builder, and more.
The third package that people can choose is billed at 49.90 euro per month and includes the previously noted perks along with the very useful ability to sign documents and contracts and manage them. Furthermore, users can rely on this plan for creating revenue projections and lots of other useful finance-related things.
Finally, the largest package that Pipedrive now has available is called Enterprise and is the most generous one of all. This one costs 99 euro per month and comes with pretty much anything you might ever need from a CRM – from unlimited users to an implementation program, high-end security preferences, and much more.
Becoming a Pipedrive affiliate
Probably one of the most important details that we have to add with respect to this affiliate program is the fact that it is not self-managed. Pipedrive works with PartnerStack, a separate network that can be used to track the activity of affiliates.
What that means for you is that you will have everything you need in a single place, especially if you are already the affiliate of other companies and they also use PartnerStack for this.
We couldn’t find any information as to whether it is mandatory for you to be a Pipedrive user in order to be able to access the affiliate program.
As is the case with others, expect to be asked some questions such as how you intend to promote Pipedrive services, what type of audience you have, what niche you’re in, your exact website URL and perhaps your social media profiles where you may want to suggest that your followers get Pipedrive.
It goes without saying that you should never use any shady techniques to get your commissions going, so no spam will be allowed. While we couldn’t find this info anywhere while doing our research, you might also not be able to use the brand’s name in PPC ads, especially when making claims that might be a little over the top.
As per the company’s own website, the program is designed to suit the needs of website publishers, VCs and incubators, influencers in the marketing niche, as well as independent consultants.

How much can you make with the Pipedrive CRM affiliate program?
This is the whole reason you’re reading this article, so let’s get it out of the way. As a Pipedrive affiliate, you get a 20% commission each time someone clicks on your affiliate link and gets any plan whatsoever.
The rate is the same for the lowest plan and the largest, but you obviously have a better chance of earning more if somehow you manage to convince someone to get the highest subscription, billed at 99 euro per month.
While trying to find out as much as possible about this program, we did come across some info on various sites according to which your commission rate will be 33%, not 20%. However, the company’s own website clearly states that it is 20%, so that is what you should expect.
The nice thing, though, is that this is a recurring commission, which means that your earning possibilities are virtually endless, so long as the people that get a plan choose to continue using it and renew their plan every month.
Payment information
In this section of our review, we will cover how you can get paid and what the payment threshold is (and if it even exists).
Apparently, Pipedrive works with PayPal only when it comes to processing affiliate payments, which can be a drawback to some extent. As you probably know, especially if you’re not based in North America or the European Union or just have another currency in your country besides USD and Euro, the exchange rates on PayPal can be downright ridiculous sometimes.

Pipedrive will take care of a currency exchange if you’re based in the United States, for example, meaning that they will convert the price of their plans (and your commissions) from euro to USD.
As for the minimum payout, it stands at $50. Whether that is a lot or not, it is only for you to decide — if you manage to convert people and get them to get the higher plans, meaning the Professional and Enterprise ones, you’ll be able to withdraw your money a lot faster. But if you only get them to stick to the free trial and then get the cheapest plan, which is priced at less than 15 euro per month, it will take some time for you to be able to withdraw your money.
In terms of payment processing, you can expect to be paid once a month on the 15th of every month. Pipedrive doesn’t use the widely unappreciated Net60 system that we have seen some affiliates complain about — but it will take about a month for them to check your commission, so expect to be paid next month for whatever you earn this month.
Pros and cons to being an affiliate for Pipedrive
As you can expect, becoming an affiliate of any company out there and matching your name and your blog’s or website’s identity to it can come with both advantages and disadvantages.
In terms of pros, we’d say that the commission rate, along with the fact that it is a recurring one, would be the first and most important benefit here. The 90-day cookie duration is decent when compared to what we’ve seen in other affiliate programs out there, but there are better ones, mainly those that offer 120 days or more.
Additionally, the fact that everything is managed by PartnerStack can be considered another advantage — PartnerStack is very convenient and you get all the stats and info you need in a single place.
In terms of cons, we’d say that the only drawback that we managed to imagine is the fact that this company isn’t as well-known as some of the others in the same industry. It has been around for a good amount of time and many people have heard about it, but it is less commonly known compared to services such as Hubspot, for example.

Pipedrive affiliate program alternatives
If you’ve read the entire review of the Pipedrive affiliate program and you’ve come to the conclusion that it might not make a good match for you or your audience, here are a few other options in the exact same industry and the commissions you can expect with them.
GetResponse
We’ve written about the GetResponse affiliate program before and we still think it is among the best that we were able to track down while doing our research.
There are two ways of earning with this one, meaning that you can either pick the model where you get paid a flat commission of $100 per sale or choose the long-term earning model and get 33% out of whatever your referrals pay each time they get a plan or renew it. So, the rate largely resembles what Pipedrive can offer to its affiliates.
Another great thing about this program is that the cookie lasts for 120 days. It’s not the whole year that you’ll get with other options, but it’s still decent enough for you to consider it.

Zoho CRM
We might have mentioned this one to you in some of our other articles, but it’s yet another quite lucrative option that you should take into account. As a Zoho CRM affiliate, you can make up to $100 per sale and you also benefit from a 90-day cookie.
Sure, the tracking cookie could have been better, but at least it’s not the industry standard, which now stands at 30 days or less. There’s no minimum sale requirement with this one, so you can withdraw your earnings as soon as you make a commission.
Hubspot
Check out our detailed review of the Hubspot affiliate program here. Hubspot is one of the most complex and versatile platforms in the world right now, and even if their plans do tend to cost a lot of money, their affiliate program is quite decent, too.
There are two ways to earn by being a Hubspot affiliate. You can make 100% of whatever your referrals pay for the first month of their subscription (which isn’t bad considering that some plans go for $1,000 or more) or you can choose to earn recurring commissions of 15% per month over a period of one whole year.

ActiveCampaign
While the commission rate that you can expect if you decide to join the ActiveCampaign affiliate program might not seem like something worth writing home about, this is definitely another option to consider — and we’re saying that because you get 20% out of the value of every plan purchased through your affiliate, but that 20% is the same throughout the life of someone’s subscription.
Another nice thing is that several tiers exist, too, which means that you can make even more money. Your bonuses can range from $500 per month or you could get your rate increased to 30% if your performance is really good and you’ve referred $2,000 over a period of 3 whole months.
EngageBay
This company is in the same industry as Pipedrive, so you can choose to become an EngageBay if for whatever reason, you feel that it would suit you better. You can make up to 30% out of every purchase made through your affiliate link.
But wait, there’s more. That commission is a recurring one, and since the company pays its affiliates every single month, that’s what you will be getting whenever your referrals pay for their plans.
The program is self-managed, so you will have to join and manage everything on the brand’s own site rather than relying on a separate affiliate network like Impact or CJ Affiliate.
